For Chef Paige, the art of cheffing runs deep in her veins, shaped by a rich tapestry of culinary influences from her diverse family. Another significant influence in her life is the impact that growing up in the culinary coastal cove of Essex has brought into her life. With a Spanish grandmother infusing her heritage with Mediterranean flavours and another in Cornwall cultivating her produce, Paige was surrounded by a love for fresh, quality ingredients from a young age. From a young age, Chef Paige was nurtured by a mother with a passion for cooking delicious meals in an environment where no ingredients are off the table, Paige developed a keen sense of resourcefulness and creativity with food. Alongside the influences from her mother, she was also influenced by her uncle’s passion for foraging and outdoor cooking, Chef Paige is used to the kitchen being a lively arena for creativity and collaboration. This diverse culinary upbringing has not only fueled Paige’s love for cooking but has also instilled in her a deep appreciation for the stories and traditions that unfold around the dining table.

Experience - in and around Essex

Chef Paige received formal culinary training at a catering college before starting her career at a fine-dining gastro pub in East Hanningfield, Essex. There, she developed her knife skills and culinary creativity. Through a combination of hard work and dedication, she rose to the position of Sous Chef within five years.

Continuing her career progression, Chef Paige became Head Chef at a new gastro pub in Stock, Essex. It was here that she was leading her team to culinary success. They then fully established themselves as one of Essex’s top dining spots with their daily and seasonal menus.

At the next stage in her career, she joined a prestigious cheffing agency, working at various fine dining establishments across Essex. Some of the establishments she has worked within include The Roslin (an AA Two Rosette Restaurant) and The Rosewater Pavilion. Throughout her time within agency life as a Private Chef in Essex she also gained experience in hospitality at venues such as Twickenham, Formula E, and Wimbledon.
